Lauren and Ben; Huntsville, Al wedding photographer

Ben and Lauren had a gorgeous wedding! I feel so blessed to be able to capture such a wonderful occasion for them and their families.

The ceremony was at the First United Methodist Church Downtown Huntsville and the beautiful reception was at The Ledges.

I had the help of the talent of Cindy Shaver as second shooter and Nancy Finnegan in makeup. This are my favorite images of the day...and some from Lauren's bridal session.

Lauren and Ben, Thank you for trusting me with your memories. I hope you love your image and cherish them for years to come. For full gallery of images go here.

I wish the happy a couple a life full of blessings...xoxo

Shoe fly spring photo shoot: Huntsville, Al Senior HIgh School Photographer

I am so excited about this year 2013! It has started in a fabulous way with three super fun open houses at three trendy boutiques here in town.  Silhouette boutique, Shoe Fly Huntsville and Shoe Fly Madison opened their doors to us and the dozens of beautiful 2014 Senior applicants. The open houses were a success and now I am left to narrow down and pick my favorite ones. Not an easy task since I would love to pick them all! I just love it when small local business get together to help each other...

Makeup by the very talented Nancy Finnegan MUA.

In that note...this morning I had the opportunity to collaborate again with Shoe Fly and shoot some of their spring line for an ad. They have some beautiful new outfits in great spring colors and you just HAVE to go and check them out! For are some of my favorite images of the day.

Assignement # 6: In the dark

Hi everyone. This weeks assignment is a bit different. I want you to photograph your loved one in the dark. Yes, you heard me right. No camera flash...turn that puppy off and use another light source to light just what you want to show. It can be using the light from a window, an ipad, a tv, a flashlight, a nearby lamp. Place your subject toward the light. be creative. this should be a fun one :)

happy creating!

And yes...I know I haven't been posting my photos. Soon I will catch up with all of you. Remember...its not about me. Its about you and your own journey. keep it up!

This is my photo for this week's challenge. I gotta admit that I felt so happy to get it done this week. Can't wait to post other and catch up with all of you.

This is Ian. He is the reason I get up in the mornings...

This image was taken at 1250 Iso, 2.8 and 1/00 Illuminated with and Ice light behind subject. ;)
